Hand finished blind hem: We offer free machine-finished hems on all skirts, however, this will leave a visible stitch line. We can finish your hem with a blind (no visible seams on the outside) hand-sewn hem. Please note that we recommend having your hems done in person, because hem length is the only measurement we cannot guarantee - howeverm if you cannot have the hem completed by an in-person seamstress, we would be happy to do it for you, based on your waist to hem measurement. Price for hand hem on basic 4-yard skirts: $80

Hand finished hem on skirts with trains, lace or ruffles: by estimate, depending on train length.

Covered grommets on a bodice, or hand-bound lacing holes:
We can cover your grommets in matching (or another) colored embroidery floss, or we can hand-stitch historically accurate eyelets for you - however, if you have ordered a reversible garment, this will make your garment NO LONGER reversible. We have to tie in the floss on one side, so unless you don't mind a visible knot, only one side of your garment will be useable if we add floss-covered grommets. $40 per row (So, if you have a front laced bodice with one row of grommets and shoulder laces, the price would be $40. If you have a double laced stomacher bodice - which is TWO rows, the price would be $80.)
