All Details and Contests are listed below!

Alright, everyone! Our contests were just a little *too* easy, and our winners were finding the answers almost as soon as we started the contests, so we sat down, munched on a few Lay's Bistro Gourmet chips (jalapeno and cheddar, of course) for inspiration, and decided to come up with a new contest that would allow everyone a chance to participate without having to watch our website 24 hours a day. There are TWO ways to win free stuff!

Here's how the first contest works:
If you have a personal website, add a link to our site and say cool stuff about us!!
That's it! It's that easy!
If you want to see an example of what we're looking for, scroll down to the NEW CONTEST RESULTS

If you want to, you can write many, many paragraphs about how much you love us, we certainly won't stop you, but you don't have to do anything more than add a link to promote us! You're even welcome to add a photo or two from our site.

ABOUT PHOTOS: Just be sure to save it to your OWN hosting site, rather than using our bandwidth. Anyone caught stealing our bandwidth will automatically be disqualified. And never, ever use our pictures to promote your own sewing skills. We will grant permission to use our photos to anyone who wants to promote OUR site, or for educational purposes - but those are the only times will will allow someone to use our copyrighted photos - you don't have to email us for permission, just stay within our guidelines and everything will be cool. :-)

Every now and again, as time allows, we will check our handy-dandy website statistics (stas that we pay a ton of money for but rarely use) and find out who has been sending people to us! Our stats tell us exactly how many folks click on your website links and visit our page, and who has been saying nice things about us! In the past, we've contacted a few of these super kind folks and sent them free garb anyway, so we thought it would be a perfect way to run our contest! We will run the contest more often in the winter than in the summer, which is typically our busy season.

One note: We must find your site on our own. Anyone who emails us and says, "Hey! Come see my website!" will be automatically disqualified. We get about 100 emails a day from customers, another 100 emails from icky SPAMMERS, so we really do not want out mailbox filling up with stuff like that. If we do get a ton of "Come see my website" emails, we will end this contest immediately.

We promise that we will award free stuff to random folks who are linking to us, and we will publish the winner's names here, but DON'T EMAIL US WITH YOUR WEBSITE! We'll disqualify you and ban you from drinking beers and margaritas with us ever again and we will never, ever share our Lay's Bistro Gourmet chips (jalapeno and cheddar, of course) with you, EVER! ;-)

Here's how the second contest works:
If you can get yourself pictured in any newspaper wearing a Very Merry Seamstress gown, and can send us a copy of that newspaper, we will give you a $40 gift certificate! We love it when our gowns are the center of attention - and if you can get THAT much attention, we want to reward you for it!

Limitations: This is limited to ONE person per picture, so if there are a dozen of you wearing VMS gowns, only the first person who sends me a copy of the newspaper picture will win, so act fast!

THERE'S MORE!!

If you can get your costumed self pictured in the newspaper AND get the newspaper people to publish and credit our website address: www.verymerryseamstress.com, we will reward you with $150 gift certificate!!!! This is a very difficult task, and we will need to have an actual copy of the whole newspaper - not just the clipping, and be able to verify it's authenticity (No photoshopped fake stuff allowed!) But wow, if you can do it, we'll reward you HANDSOMELY! The full website address must be noted - not just "The Very Merry Seamstress." In order to win this contest, the newspaper text must credit:

www.verymerryseamstress.com

(If you want business cards to hand out, just let me know and I will mail you a bunch so you will always be prepared!)

Limitations: Again, this is limited to ONE person per picture, so if there are a dozen of you wearing VMS gowns, only the first person who sends me a copy of the newspaper picture will win, so act fast!
