Do you dislike big, honkin' grommets so commonly found on faire bodices? If so, you've come to the right place. On this page you can order your bodice with your choice of lacing rings (not pictured), hand-sewn eyelets, hooks and eyes or decorative clasps. Clasp designs will vary. We will add six to each side of your front or back-closing bodices, for a total of twelve closures. Please see the pictures below to determine which method of closure you prefer.

Note: hooks and eyes and clasps leave absolutely no room for sizing fluctuations, so if you prefer some adjustability with your bodice, I recommend going with lacing rings or eyelets.

$50 gets your choice of hand-sewn eyelets, lacing rings, hooks and eyes or clasps on your bodice or doublet.

Bodice and Doublet Lacers Unfortunately the company that previously manufactured the lacers has stopped production and will no longer sell them. As such, we are no longer able to offer lacers on bodices. We apologize for any invconvenience.
