Moulin Rouge

If you don't see what you're looking for, just email us! We can make ANY garment from ANY movie, as long as you provide us with a picture or sketch to work from.

Satine's Red Gown

We can make this gown from any colored satin, with or without the wonderful bow at the back. This is a formfitting Victorian era gown, inspired by the character "Satine" in Moulin Rouge, the movie.

The bodice is boned throughout the front, and laces at the back through sturdy corset-grade grommets. The skirt features a lovely train at the back, and a voluminous bow, lined with black satin, as it is in the movie. (see detail picture)

Freedom, Beauty, Truth and Love can be all yours.

(We'd send you Ewan McGregor too, but it's illegal to do such a thing - and we'd probably want to keep him all to ourselves.)

You do not have to choose colors/sizes when ordering. After you place your order, we will email you a detailed order form to fill out for measurements and color options.

Budget Black Diamonds

We offer several versions of this ensemble. This one (pictured) is a "budget" more affordable version at $250.

If you're looking for a true-to-the-movie version, please let us know. The cost will exceed the $2000 mark, depending on the amount of hand work you require..

The budget version of Black Diamonds is less elaborate than the original, but is offered at a fraction of the price. It's a sparkling, heavily boned corset with straps. The velvet collar features a more simplistic design, finished with hand-applied nailhead studs. The front "modesty panel" beaded fringe is long and elegant.

The back "tails" are made from velvet with one layer of additional beaded fringe.

You can complete additional beading and fringe on your own, add some fishnet stockings and a cute pair of black panties and you're ready to go!

BUDGET PINK DIAMONDS

We will be offering two levels of pricing for the Moulin Rouge Pink Diamonds ensemble. This first option, pictured, uses thin feather boas instead of the extremely thick ostrich boas used in the movie version.

The second version (pictures coming soon) will be offered with the same thick ostrich boas pictured from the movie, but the price will be much higher (the boas alone will be over $2000).

This budget version offers a sparkling, heavily boned corset with straps, glass beaded fringe and fluffy boa tails. We also add a detachable padded bustle to wear under the feathers.

The corset is covered with white fishnet, and the heart appliques and the shoulder straps are beaded with colorful glass beads.

Special thanks to Rickee for submitting pictures of herself posing in her new VMS Pink Diamonds ensemble. Her husband is pictured wearing a VMS original vest, a repro of the one Ewan wore in Moulin Rouge.

The Hindi Wedding Gown

We received requests for this gown every month, so rather than spend a lot of time in back and forth emails, I thought it would be easier for people to understand, up front, that the cost of this gown is easily going to exceed the $5000 mark.

This elaborate gown is an all-silk gown with customized embroidery and beading. Because this is such a labor-intensive project, the price of this gown will exceed $5000.

If you are interested in purchasing this gown, please email me and I will start shopping for fabrics. Fabric costs will determine the final price of this gown, which will not be less than $5000.

This gown requires a minimum of six months lead time to create. You must do a sloper fitting, with a professional seamstress, and ship the sloper back to me at least ten months before your event.
